How I Work
for You
By engaging our residents, being available for discussion and actively participating in our community’s events,
I have had the privilege of getting to know many of you and your concerns and love for our fine city.
I will continue to serve all people of Altamonte Springs in anyway I can!
Proven
Leadership
Since 2017, I have been proudly representing all Altamonte Springs
citizens as your Commissioner. I now chair the Seminole County Community Services BGA Board after representing our city there since 2018.
I am always looking for ways to make our city and county even better.
Serving Since
Day One
I am privileged to meet and work with some extraordinary city staff and citizens during my tenure as Altamonte Springs City Commissioner.
I strive to continue to be a pillar of support for our amazing people.
Giving Back and
Looking Forward
I am proud to have served our country as a volunteer in the U.S. Army (air traffic controller) and I re-enlisted for a second tour.
I am honored to serve our city since I was first elected City Commissioner in 2017 and re-elected in 2019 and 2021.
Election is Nov 7, 2023, this year!
If you are registered to vote in Altamonte Springs, look for my name on our city ballot and vote to #ReElectJim! Together we can continue to bring amazing opportunities to our great city while remaining debt free.
Tell your friends and family! Spread the word! Let’s work together and keep Altamonte Springs the city that shines bright with opportunity for everyone!
Plant a yard sign and donate!
As hard as I work, I wouldn’t be where I am today without your support. I need your help to win this election! I want to meet as many voters as possible. Gather your friends and neighbors for a ‘meet your Commissioner Turney’ hour together in your home or coffee shop. I’ll be there!
I’m always looking for talented minds to join the Turney Team!
If you can help volunteer your time and talents to #ReElectJim, be sure to reach out!
